Sustainable Lobster-fishing .... ???

They are feeding the lobsters, and throwing all but the allowed sizes back in. But the lobster industry struggles and catches are dwindling.

Sailing the Maine coast we encountered thousands of lobster traps - like the "mine-field" above.

I wonder how many times a lobster is caught before it is finally legal.

From the surface, it sure doesn't look like anything escapes the traps.
