We left Onset midday Monday in fresh SW breeze that took us 7-8 knots North-East towards Nova Scotia.
The wind was steady for about 30 hours at which time the fog started to roll in and the wind slowly faded away Wednesday morning.
Tuesday night was probably the wettest we have ever had.
Not rain nor spray - FOG! Dense, wet, cold fog. Large foggy raindrops that seemed to defy gravity and refuse to fall down.
Like smoking water! Healthy!
During the morning hours Wednesday the sky slowly cleared and the temperature increased almost 15C.
With better sight, we witnessed some breathtaking sights: Whales! Large and many - but extremely good at ducking away as we were about to take pictures.
The last leg up to Halifax was again in 25 kts winds - straight ahead! We did about 3,5 kts by motor the last 12 nm with a lot of smashing and pounding into the waves.
